I love it when it works. It is loud and wakes up my hard sleeping teenage son. After 4 months of using, it doesn't seem to want to stay on. I noticed it would randomly turn off and turn back on but of course I had to reset it (and this is using the AV/USB plug that was included). This became frustrating making sure that the alarm was set the night before and having to wake him up to notice that the clock turned off and back on in the middle of the night. Thought maybe it was a plug issue so try using batteries but won't come on with just the batteries. Such a bummer as this really did work well for my son and would think the battery feature would allow the clock to work. Still not giving up as this really is a good alarm clock
