I needed a footstool/low table next to my bedroom chair that's light enough to move around easily but strong enough to sit on and around my shoes tighten and level enough to put a cup of tea. quite hard to find in a whorehouse. until I found this one! My decor is light and beachy, which is perfect: a bit off-white, but it looks great next to the white baseboards. There was a chemical smell when it was first removed from the plastic cover, but it quickly dissipated after a night in the garage. It doesn't slosh or sink when I sit on it, which is exactly what I wanted.
