Update: After a year of use I find them perfect. Easy to read, install and reset. Still on the original battery. I guess it's a newer version because they got rid of the beep every time the button was pressed, which people didn't like. It is very easy to use with simple minute, second and start/stop buttons. Resetting the time is as simple as pressing the minute and second buttons at the same time. I like the alarm volume switch so I don't wake up the whole house. The three magnets are strong and stick well to the fridge. The buttons are very easy to press, so you won't have any trouble with arthritic hands. The only thing I don't like is the 10 minute shutdown after the alarm goes off. It seems overkill and a waste of battery life. The battery compartment is also very thin, but hopefully I won't have to touch it often.
