The cable is too thin but does the job. The sound quality is precise and full-bodied. It doesn't have that thin, tinny sound you get with cheap headphones. Bass quality is good if they fit snugly in the ear. Note that noisy environments can prevent you from enjoying the sound quality of these headphones. One of the problems with this set is that they can easily detach from your ear during jaw related exercises. These are my previous headphones and I tried five different headphones in my life before settling on this one. Definitely worth the money.
