Okay not good for hardware

I have these levers and latches in all the doors in the house that are used less, seems fine a year later. A garage door slammed a million times a day by kids running in and out, not so much. The mechanism inside broke after a few months, I had to take it out and fiddle with it and it's still working to this day. The mechanism inside is completely broken. I'm not a locksmith and don't know the name of the broken part, but it is a piece of metal that has broken in half and the locking mechanism no longer clicks. From day one they seemed cheaper but they work so I didn't care but now with a broken part and a 25 minute wait for customer service you get a 2 star rating.
