This is a great gauge for the home. Without contact, I don't have to wake the children up by taking their temperature. It's hard to put a sick child to rest. Anything that can keep her calm is a big plus. I also used a forehead scanner to compare the readings I get from this device. and they exist. +- .2Very easy to use, just point and click. Reads fast and can check multiple locations very quickly. I highly recommend this device. It's also at a great price.
