I bought these in August 2020 and they were great. I enjoyed using them. I used one for salt and one for pepper. In February, the salt cellar began to have problems. Salt particles constantly got into the battery compartment. In March he failed completely. I tried changing the batteries and brushing the metal contacts but it didn't work. I've noticed the light comes on, but the engine won't start. Then I noticed that the plastic plate was warming up. After removing it to check the batteries, one of the batteries was found to be heating up and bloating. I tried several brand new batteries and the same thing happened, the battery started to heat up and expand. So now I have a pepper grinder and no salt. I have contacted the company through Revain and have heard nothing. I do NOT recommend this product.
