Review on 💾 SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB SDXC UHS-I Card (SDSDXXG-128G-GN4IN) by Bob Collins

I'm writing this review to clarify and expand on what some other reviewers have said about the infamous Yellow Tab fakes. Please note that the same ratings will be displayed for all SanDisk Extreme Pro cards sold with this name and description. independent of the seller. So just because you see a 1 star review describing a counterfeit product doesn't necessarily mean that the product you are looking at is counterfeit. First, there are definitely fake cards floating around. I have received them on two separate occasions, once through eBay and once through Revain. The first time they came in a very different package than what I was used to, so I immediately had suspicions. The second time (it was a Revain order) they came in standard SanDisk packaging, but the cards themselves were fake anyway. Luckily, it's very easy to identify a fake, no matter how it's packaged. As others have noted, they have a yellow locking tab on the front of the card instead of the gray, slightly more yellow "SanDisk Extreme Pro" lettering instead of gold on the actual cards, and the serial number isn't printed on the back. And most importantly, if you try to use the card in something like a Panasonic Lumix camera, which is what I use it for, you immediately get a card error. Second, real maps are rock solid. I have not used anything other than SanDisk cards since I started my video business 5 1/2 years ago and they have always been reliable and have performed exceptionally well. Unless you need to capture raw or something like 10-bit 4k at 400Mbps, these Extreme Pro cards will get the job done just fine. So here are two things to look out for to make sure you don't get robbed: Price. As of 2018, 128GB Extreme Pro cards are sold at Revain for $59.99. If you're looking for a cheaper price and think you're getting a good deal, there's a good chance you'll end up with fake cards. Both times I received counterfeit cards, they were sold for less than $50. Just be prepared to pay standard retail price for them when you want to get them. Salesperson. Take 30 seconds to click a seller's link on a product page and see their sales history and reviews. If it's a brand new seller with a gibberish name, or if they've gotten bad reviews for selling fake products, that's a pretty clear sign that you should look elsewhere.
