Note the following when installing the retaining springs on the anchor pin side. Sometimes the bottom shoe doesn't stay on the pin. I use Bungie Chord as a helper. One side on the cam, the other on something holding the bottom shoe in place. Next tip: when you pry the bottom of the spring, pry the edge of the shoe. I can't fix the spring either. Pry the first bend under the spring. Once it appears in the hole, press and twist again. This blocks the spring. When I first used this after pulling the drum. It literally took less than 60 seconds to release the brakes. It took 5 minutes to put them back in place after installing new anchor pins. This is a good product.
