Review on Shovel Knight Amiibo - Nintendo Wii U/3DS Edition by Christopher Lott

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as good as before, but still worth buying

At first you had to play co-op on Wii u and Switch, but after later updates you don't need an amiibo to play co-op. The main attraction of this amiibo is that you can play as a "custom knight". The difference is that collecting treasure as a custom knight, instead of collecting treasure and using it to buy upgrades in the game, is like collecting experience points, and after reaching a certain amount, you level up and get a relic or something knight of spades and a different suit. palette selection. There are some additional relics that can only be obtained as a normal knight. The level cap is 50, so you won't reach the max level until the end of the game. There is also a person in town who will give you the option to summon the Spade Fairy if you scan the amiibo. It doesn't affect gameplay, but it flies around and does silly or funny things. It's also important to note that if you're playing cooperatively and want both players to play as their own knights, you'll need 2 Spade Knight amiibo, one for each player. However, you can still play with one player as a normal knight and one player as a non-normal knight if you only have one amiibo. I'd give 5 stars if it was necessary for the co-op play, but since that's no longer the way to go I'd say it gets 4 stars. It adds a bit of fun and variety to an already amazing game.
