I have tried various tools to remove the rear wiper arm on my Mercedes ML320 - none have worked. Started with what's on sale here at Revain, more of a diamond shape - didn't work. I went to a car service that works fine on my car - they had a tool to remove battery terminals - they couldn't. Went to the auto parts store - their version didn't work either. Finally I decided to double check the options available and saw this one. By that time I had recognized the design flaws of other tools and this one seemed to be made exactly as needed to get the job done but with one fixable issue. The brass colored cap at the end of the threaded push rod is too deep so it swallows the wiper arm shaft and doesn't pull when I tighten the screw. So I had to make it less deep by cutting off the bottom with a Dremmel tool. After that it literally took 5 seconds to remove the broken wiper arm. Literally almost a week elapsed between buying and returning non-working tools to complete a seemingly simple task.
