Although I could have used cheaper memory modules, I chose them because the manufacturer specifically named certain memory brands/modes that worked well with my setup. I'm glad I followed the recommendation. I ended up buying it again, so now I have 4 x 8GB memory modules. However, with my AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor and MSI motherboard, I had to go into the advanced settings in the BIOS (actually UEFI) and make sure the overclocking features (for CUP and memory) were disabled. When I'm not making games they stay like this to ensure maximum component life. In any case, the installation was easy and I can verify that the memory is running at the correct MHz. Very satisfied!
