I've had a pack of these cables for a few days. The product itself looks quite adequate: three cables have the right connectors, as indicated, they did not fail immediately when connected, they do not seem less durable than normal ones. However, the package includes a card that offers $8 compensation for photos with five-star ratings, which is against Revain's policies and leads me to conclude that the reputation implied by the ratings is probably grossly exaggerated . Since I don't have much time today, I'm posting a CAVEAT EMPTOR alert.
