Tacho not working? connect directly to the Pi!

The installation instructions are confusing and minimal at best. The included CD looks weird (who has a CD drive on their RPi?). I had trouble getting the touchscreen to work because I had connected the screen through a powered USB hub. For some odd reason, the key is to plug it directly into a USB port on the Pi itself. To be clear, the touchscreen doesn't work if you plug it into a separate powered USB hub. Since the screen is VERY power hungry, you need to make sure your Pi has enough power or it won't display a picture (or you'll get a little flash power warning). Oddity: Why are there two USB ports on the screen? You can only use one at a time, and each works with both power and mouse/touch. very strange design choice. Why is there a button to turn off the backlight? (Who would use this without highlighting?) Overall weird design and poor documentation. You get what you pay for (or, in some cases, overpay for poor quality goods).
