It's like someone giving you a hard ankle massage. The rotation of the massage heads is perfect. The first time I used it was when I had neck pain. Ten minutes of massage with this device and the headache is almost gone. Serious. The only thing that will help relax your neck muscles better is a real massage. And that's exactly what it looks like. This is a large item hanging from your shoulders and chest. The photos don't really give an accurate idea of how big it is. The manufacturer should consider adding a picture of someone wearing it around their neck. The intensity of the massage can be controlled in two ways - with one of the buttons on the massager and with the handles, how much pressure you put on it. Make it as intense or light (within reason) as you like. It has multiple speeds and the movement of the massage heads can be changed by pressing a different button. The included carry case is a great bonus. It's big enough to hold the massager, both power cords, and the instruction manual. The handles of the massager are conveniently folded, making it easy to put in a bag. It fits well. You don't have to put it in your pocket. All the pieces fit together like a good jigsaw puzzle. The only thing I don't like is the colour. It's kind of pale blue and it doesn't seem as pretty as the pictures to me. Looks like something from the 70's. Too bad I didn't go for grey. The only thing that would make it better would be if it had some kind of indicator lights on it. This would be especially useful for intensity. It has three speed levels, but it can be hard to tell which one it's running at without scrolling through them a few times. This is because these three levels can be considered really deep, super deep, and mega deep. They are all intense and it's hard to tell what level it is just by feeling. I deducted a star for my only real complaint - the heat. It just doesn't work. It gets a little warm when it's on, but it might just be my body heat. I do not know. Maybe mine is defective. Except for the heat issue (or lack thereof), this is a great, reliable massager that really helps loosen muscle knots in your neck.
