Cleaning the straw without one of those little brushes is nearly impossible and takes forever. This small cleaning brush makes cleaning reusable straws quick and easy. Not to mention a lot healthier when they're clean. The large brush is great for cleaning narrow glasses that you can't put your hand in, or our ribbed glasses that you can't clean with a simple sponge. I like this set the best because the small brush fits right in the handle and the big brush so you can't lose it. It is made of hard plastic and, as mentioned, the bristles of the brush should not get into the glass. Happy to recommend.
