Bought a new garage door and needed a mailbox installed in it. I saw this case as an add-on, so I bought it on the spur of the moment. When I cut a hole in the door for the mailbox, I realized that grommet was important to protect the insulation in the door. This is one of those things that is probably a lot easier to install the second time around. This made installing the post office really difficult as the top of the flap on the post office went into the hole and caught on the sleeve. So I had to move the mailslot down a bit to make it work. Overall I'm glad I bought the sleeve and expect it to do its job of protecting the insulation in the door.
