As advertised except for the additional lift slot at the bottom. Simply cut with pliers (don't try to break it with your hands), remove the threaded plug of the lift post behind the sink drain, carefully pry the lift rod about 1/2" from the drain, remove the old plug, insert into the new plug, put the lift back in place. rod and unscrew the screw cap of the lifting rod. The Venetian bronze color was perfect.
