My two year old shoe size is currently between size 6.5 and 7. I chose to go with size 7 and they fit her great! They have a little bit of space left for some room to grow in. Overall I am very happy. She has space to wear thick socks if needed. The material feels good but have not tested for water resistance. Will see how they hold up in the near future.EDIT:She wore these for camping (which there was rain) and a muddy corn maze and they held up so well! No wet feet at all. Still happy with the product and overall quality for price.
