My Toyota Sequoia only has 2 license plate holes at the top of the tailgate and no holes at the bottom. So, as I drove through an aggressive car wash, I grabbed my license plate by the bottom corner and leaned over at an angle. I bought a clear cover with rounded edges (to prevent the rotating brush from catching on anything), placed it on my license plate, and attached it to the underside of the license plate so it held magnetically to the back hatch. So far, so good!
