Works for thick, curly hair.
It was nice and flexible and hugged my head (I have a big head) and wasn't so tight that it hurt. In fact, I forget it's there most of the time, and if you have jet black hair like mine, no one will notice it's there. Overall a great product! If you hesitated because it seemed too cheap or could be misleading, I can tell you it is not. Costs money
