Filters out all the bad!
The filter is ideal for removing impurities from the water. I even use it on bottled water now to remove chlorine and sodium. The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is that within 2 weeks of daily use the small loop carabiner that comes with the bottle broke when attached to my backpack and bottle. fell to the ground. This seems to be a common mistake, so it's best to just remove it at first and replace it with a stronger bracket.
