Review on πŸ”‹ Lixada Solar Panel Charger USB Port - Compact Monocrystalline Silicon Power Bank for Cell Phone Charging during Camping Trips by Morgan Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Amazing value for a 4w solar charger.

I bought this panel for ultra light touring and it exceeds all expectations at an amazing price. It can draw about 4 watts of power in full sunlight (AND NO MORE THAN THAT). I've trimmed the edges and reduced the weight to 2.4 ounces - it's really light and its plastic coating is strong. It turns on my iPhone 6 with no problems. Just remember that the second you walk under a tree or turn your back on the sun, your iPhone will stop charging and you need to plug it back in. Therefore, the most useful application of this panel is to connect it to a small battery, e.g. B. a single-cell lipstick battery like Anker, since batteries aren't as demanding as to how much charge they can hold. If, like me, you're going 12 hours and don't have at least an hour for breaks and lunch to put it in direct sun, this might not be enough for you. Some people do things like sticky plates on their hats for a while to maintain a strong charge, but that won't help you when you're in the woods or when there's clouds. If your charging needs are minimal and you know you get a lot of strong sun, this panel might be for you. I need at least 55% iPhone charge every day with GAIA GPS tracking all the time so I could hardly keep up. You might want to move away from solar power and switch to a tiny 10000 anker battery instead of solar power. I'm on the fence about it. Boundless power is very attractive, but a few cloudy days will not be a happy situation. This is the lightest charger I've found that can deliver 4W.
