Review on πŸ”† OSMO Top Oil - Enhanced Satin Finish by Roberta Carlin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This Osmo has almost no smell!

I like fixing furniture. Wanted to try something new that smelled less than previous products I've used. I asked a guy who makes epoxy tables and he suggested Osmo. So I took a chance and ordered this food safe table for an MCM table I work on. First, take a white pad of Scotch Brite, apply and cut into 2x2 squares. Yes that's right. 2 inch squares. Wear latex gloves. Read the instructions on the bench. Apply a little to the square and rub into the furniture in a circular motion. Small things have a big impact. Then I finish with long strokes that go across the grain. You may need 2-3 layers. Allow more than 10 hours to dry between coats. I used xxxx steel wool to gently smooth the surface after each layer dried. It really brings out the wood texture on the walnut table I'm working on. And almost odorless because it doesn't contain any unpleasant solvents. One jar and I have enough left over I could make at least 5 more 8ft long kitchen tables so yeah that's a good price too! Recommend!
