Review on 🛡️ Honda HRX 06761-VH7-000AH Guard Kit by James Hardin

Design needs improvement. Aluminum is too thin, flexible and not wide enough. It only took me 30 minutes to install both sides but they aren't really designed to adequately protect the edge of the mower. Should be 1/2" wider or more now the edge is 1/4" away from the board top and bottom as you can see in my video. At least make it a lot thicker, stronger, a lot wider and make the edge of the mower curve for a much better fit. There is now a small gap between the plate and the edge of the deck. You can do whatever you want to bend this board along the curve of the edge, it will never fit right. To me it's just an easy way, a poor man's design, a quick way with no thought or effort to design it for a right fit much better than two thin, flat pieces of metal that are poorly designed. It's really not worth drilling 2 holes in the deck and spending 20.00 and time on it. I can't return it, I have 2 holes in my deck. I would rather return it without it, no scratches on it, I mow very carefully, than now have these ugly 2 flat pieces of metal on my mower that don't do what they were designed to do. Just one way for Honda to make money off such a stupid idea. I do not recommend. Don't waste your money, time and effort.
