I bought this speaker because I wanted better sound than my iPhone, but I didn't want it to be "sharp in the face" or overpriced. This meets all the requirements of the economy and looks promising. Set up was quick and the sound quality is good. It is unobtrusive and fills the room with sound. I wish the volume control had more precise adjustments. It seems that 1 press of the volume button on the device changes from too quiet to too loud and vice versa. A partial solution seems to be toggling between source volume and speaker level. The fit and finish of the device are excellent.
