If you need a simple caliper/micrometer, that's enough. It's great for around the house and for measuring my tech stuff, does the job and is pretty accurate. I wouldn't buy it to carry in an industrial setting, use heavy tools, or for professional accuracy. For this I would buy a much more powerful and much more expensive device. However, if it's for home use and general measurements, it will fit and save you some money.
