This thing is a beast. This is truly the only flush cutter you will ever need. If you're doing any type of boilerplate work, you need this bit. I made a coat hanger out of walnut, and no matter how carefully I tried to trim off the excess with the traditional straight die, it continued to cling to the fibers and ejected the work piece like a rocket, which is both infinitely annoying and very dangerous. I watched a few YouTube videos about pattern routing that led me to this. The price confused me a little, but then I remembered how many beautiful nuts I had destroyed and decided to buy them. I was immediately impressed by his performance. I'm still following the grain in pattern routing, but you can easily go against the grain and probably won't get a break. It definitely upped my pattern routing game tenfold! Attached photos: Finished hanger and J-hook thanks to this bat and a comparison between this bat and two traditional straight bats.
