I spent some time researching different screen options and finally settled on ezFrame with Sound Transparent AcousticPro screen material. There were two areas that gave me a little concern - placing the screen in front of my in-wall speakers and setting it up with no visible waves - and most of the reviews for the ezFrame in both categories were quite positive. The screen itself arrived professionally packaged and was really easy to install. I took the extra time to make sure there were no waves, but it only took me about 60 minutes to unbox and assemble. I was pleasantly surprised that all the necessary tools (including a screwdriver) came with the screen. I did the assembly myself unaided and I did it with no ripples on the screen. After reading many disturbing comments about other screen builds, I was definitely pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was and how professional the end result looked. It took me extra time to hang the screen since my speakers were sitting right against the wall and I had to install some extra floating boards to hold them in place, but ezFrame also solved the second problem as I don't hear any impact on the sound quality . I was expecting a slight loss, but then again I don't hear any difference - the sound goes through. The picture quality itself is also very good, and Full HD (1080p) movies and games look crisp and clear. As this is my first screen I don't have a direct comparison to others but I can assume screens made out of a quiet transparent material could do better in this category but again I'm very happy with the picture quality as well. To sum up, if you need to install a screen in front of your speakers and want a quality material with no visible waves on the fabric, ezFrame is definitely the product I recommend. The professional packaging and the presence of all the tools reinforce the overall impression that Elite Screens cares a lot about a good experience for its customers.
