My husband is bedridden and has medical equipment in his room. I've tried baby monitors but the problem with this is that the noise the medical equipment was making was all I could hear and it kept me up at night and stuck indoors at the other end of the monitor. it was an answered prayer, he can push the button and call me if he needs me and I don't hear the noise of the medical equipment. Also, I can strap one of the receivers to my belt and go out into the yard, work in the yard, or just go for a walk, which I couldn't do before. At first he fumbled when I got it and said he wouldn't need it, but less than 24 hours after I installed them he had to use that in the bathroom. They were very easy to set up, all I had to do was insert the batteries.
