It's a dressier material than the regular khakis my kids wear. We tend to focus more on the leisure sector. However, my 7th year seemed very comfortable to them. He's my picky kid, and the last time he wore his khakis, he cried at how uncomfortable they were. (These are the same ones he was wearing, but he looks like me and his mood seems to have gotten more sensitive from time to time.) They've gotten thumbs ups from him so far. Plus, he looks awfully good in it. When they arrived they looked like they were on the small side. However, they fit him perfectly, so I'd say true to size (with a slimmer fit, but not snug). The waist part is elastic so it stretches when needed, but there is no adjustable strap. This mostly gets in our way, but it works (fortunately). In general we were satisfied with them.

Pros
  • The sturdy construction and high-quality material make it colorfast and easy to care for.
Cons
  • No seasonal versatility.
