When it comes to auto parts, you get what you pay for and that applies to this compressor. After taking it to a shop to have it installed a few months ago, it worked fine for a couple of weeks, the air conditioning was moderately cold considering it was 90+ degree weather. One day it just lost its ability to cool the interior of the car, so I thought maybe it needs some kind of coolant, but it doesn't. I took it back to the store and they recharged the system. Then it won't be as cold as it should be. They then checked the compressor's power output and found that it was below the desired level. So now it's getting chilly instead of cold because the air conditioning can't work properly. So if you think about it, probably not. Of course, all of this happens after the return period has expired.
