I have tried so many different kinds of dish drying racks and have had so many challenges with them over the years from rust to water puddling, fixed size, etc. This unit is expandable and adaptable to meet your space requirements and needs, and you can also direct the water spout from the bottom and extend it to make sure the water flows into your sink instead of puddling on your counter. You can decide which end the expandable part attaches to, as well as where you want to mount the cup drying rack part, which enables you to efficiently allocate the available counterspace space you have. My only criticism - albeit a minor one - is that the glass holder hangs the glasses beyond the reach of the drainage system, so if you don't want to hang the glasses over your sink, you'll end up with a bit of water on your counter from residual water draining from your cups. I don't find hanging the cups over the sink to be very convenient because it creates an obstacle to placing things you've just washed into the draining rack, so it's the trade-off to deal with, but if you don't have a full draining rack you could of course place glasses / cups directly on the flat portion of the rack to dry.
