I found the product shot a bit odd because it only showed the broom head, not a handle. It turns out he's not coming. I threw away a worn out broom I had at the cement yard and luckily I was able to unscrew the metal rod or handle and it screwed right into this one. It wasn't until I received it that I noticed that the product title clearly says "Broom Head Only". These stiff bristles are great for sweeping my patio. I don't know what they're made of, but it's some kind of durable, man-made material that doesn't absorb water. When the head gets dirty, I hose it down with a garden hose.
