I just received this carrier this afternoon, and although it sounded as if it would be easy to assemble, attaching the "base plate" on the bottom was nearly impossible. I have never in my life had so much difficulty inserting "male tubes into female receptors"! The fabric, the size, the alignment . none of it seemed to work correctly, but with the aid of a hammer, I finally managed to secure the "base plate" to the bottom. The "front support bar" took a few minutes to figure out, but was easy to insert once I found the opening in the fabric. However, the carrier does hold my two little dogs (13 lb. and 11 lb.) at once, although it's a bit crowded. I won't be using it too often (mainly for cab rides, vet visits) so hopefully it will hold together!
