Definitely lots of shimmer. (I hope Amazon saves the quality of the photo so you can see that, lol.) This body cream claims to be "intensely" moisturizing, but I have normal/oily skin and it doesn't moisturize at all. Luckily, I bought this for the shimmer, which is less "shiny" than most other similar lotions, so I love it. BUT, shimmer sticks to any dry patches you have and won't even out even if you don't have dry patches. To fix this, I've found that mixing a small amount of shimmering cream with a thinner lotion helps balance it out. You can see individual iridescences up close, but a few feet away they look like a beautiful natural glow. Oh, and it smells amazing.
