2 weeks ago I broke my toe after falling down the stairs. I ordered these shoes right away so I wouldn't accidentally damage them again while I'm inside. It worked very well and protected my fingers. However, I noticed a few problems. First, the velcro straps are too long and I had to shorten them myself. It's a small velcro strap that connects the boot with a velcro strap that comes loose but I don't understand why. Secondly, this shoe is quite high and if nothing is worn on the other foot, I find it difficult to walk due to the imbalance. It's really a problem when I'm indoors. Third, the shoe size is smaller than advertised. This was a problem because over time my foot would slide forward and out of the shoe. I'm a size eight and a half and the shoe barely fits my foot without touching the edge.
