These shoes were a lot better than I had expected. My son is in that "shooting sprout" stage so he keeps growing out of everything so he needed shoes and I wasn't about to spend $60 on a pair of shoes he would only wear for a year. The quality is VERY nice. The fit is great! They are slip on style so, keep that in mind. The laces that come with the shoes do tend to come out of a double knot almost everyday from typical school recess and play so we switch the laces out but other than that, I see myself buying another pair when he needs them.
