After reading some reviews from those who said this is not the right size etc etc Well it is the right size! It is 1.5 inches wide. I think the ones that received a different size were due to an error by a member of staff who didn't read the details before picking up the item and shipping it. However, it works great with 1.5" plastic Duraflex buckles and 1.5" plastic triglides. I was able to adjust the size of some things I use on my hikes. I was also able to adjust the size of the Maxpedition Thermite Versipack. (You will need to replace the buckles with Thermite as they are not compatible with the original buckles.) Pros: Heavy-duty nylon straps for any project. Straps, lanyards, etc. Cons: It tends to fray when cut, but that's easily fixed with a lighter and Krazyglue.
