You need to work on them before using them on your skin.
Had to deburr a lot of pliers. Leaning on a piece of 6 ounce veggie leather the whole time to avoid pain, they first cut into the leather by just squeezing it. in a plastic case (see photo) they now work perfectly. A nice crispy crust looks and bends without cutting or damaging the skin.
- Practical effect: the jaws are flattened, the clamping force is strong, saving time and labor, durable, easy to use and safe.
