I bought this product to broadcast TV signals that were previously difficult to see. I don't have a cable connection at home, so I tried many OTA antennas. Product Installation Details: My 1byone antenna is installed 10 feet off the ground and the output is sent to a Seiki HD TV. That's all. The instructions explain how to do this. A simple scan here gives more than 3 dozen channels (you can adjust the sensitivity). The picture quality is exceptional. I would call it DVD quality. I don't know what the thickness means, but the antenna is an easy to mount thin disk. Channel discrimination is great. Edit added February 18, 2021 The main component is a small 1byone amplifier. Half a meter of snow fell in our city yesterday, so I turned off the outdoor antenna. Instead I attached a very cheap indoor antenna. All channels were strong and clear. The small indoor antenna itself does not receive any programs.
