Personally, I'm not a fan of burning AA batteries to wear a silly costume. But the USB plug makes it possible to connect the power supply and not worry about it. Everyone has some kind of USB power supply. Tuck it in, slip it in your back pocket, done! Don't have a power supply? Put some batteries in the box. I personally don't know why anyone would just buy the battery box when you have such an upgrade kit. 3/5 stars, wouldn't change a thing.
