I bought this pillow as my baby's first pillow. I was looking for a smaller pillow that would provide some support but not so firm that baby could use it as a stepping stone to get out of the cradle. I wanted something soft and cozy and it worked. My LO has been using it at night for a while now and absolutely loves it. Hugs him sometimes instead of sleeping on him lol. I've seen some people say he doesn't have a pillowcase. Mine came with a plain white pillowcase - there is a small flap inside to stuff the pillow. I bought another one from Little North Star as a spare. Both are soft and machine washable, and Lo and I love the fabric. The pillow is big enough for a small child and I would definitely recommend it as a starter pillow!
