I use these to hang removable stool tables in the classroom. They stick very well to (even uneven) walls and metal surfaces. They stick best to smooth surfaces. They are ideal for clarifying bulk materials. However, in a very warm environment, they do not stay pressed against the wall. But when the windows are open my charts hold up very well.
