Affordable price but extra investment required

This case fits our small SYM Wolf Classic 150 quite well and barely covers the rim when pulled hard. However, after about 3-4 months, holes and cracks appeared. -1 star. It also became very faded, noticeable for about 5-6 months. -1 star. I don't think it "leaks", but moisture/condensation forms underneath, particularly on the parts that make contact with the bike underneath. After a year it looked worn out. -1 star. Maybe it's just me, so I won't shoot for the star, but I found it very confusing trying to line up the cap (front to back) when I put it on every night - a visual color/mark or other ergonomic touch would help the figure find out if it was crumpled for storage. The small bungee/retaining clip is difficult to reach and poses a risk of touching a hot exhaust pipe, although this seems to be common with a number of cap designs. Speaking of exhaust. The cover rested well on the hot muffler which was partially covered with a plastic sleeve (daily) but one day a friend turned it at a weird angle and the cover melted on part of the exhaust pipe (near the block exit). This cover was on its last legs, a frayed and stained tape cover when a thief tried to steal our bike and ripped the cover off. . It is also suitable as a temporary cover for a small bike outdoors. This is NOT a good long term cover although you can buy two for the low price. I would invest more if you need it for more than a few months, especially if you live in changeable weather conditions (mine has spent most of my life in the US Midwest, including some snow, although I rode and clear most days ).
