February 5, 2021 6 foot cable overview I use this cable for a Canon scanner (standalone). The cable delivers power from the computer and data from the scanner to the computer. Adequate shielding; Turning on/off the fluorescent table lamp caused the scanner to restart. The mini-B female connector on this cable provided a tight fit (audible click and tactile feel) on the scanner connector. TL: DRI unplugged and plugged the original back in, the original didn't have the click or feel that was once off.
