They work well but require 8 batteries.
I love them but my only concern is that each one takes 4 AA batteries which seems like a lot. So far, so good; They work great and are a good weight. Easy to season evenly. For example, there is a plug at the bottom to keep the shelf, cupboard, counter clean.
