I got this coffee machine for my birthday. Very satisfied thus far! The cappuccinatore required a little bit of getting used to, but overall it was great to pour, score, screw, wait, and consume! It is simple to clean, takes up little room, and is, in theory, quiet. I use it to brew coffee every morning. By the way, it didn't smell like plastic.
