Easy to use, place on small trees, in clear vases and around Christmas figurines. Note that if you touch the battery to turn it off before bed, the light will flicker and dim. I bought 18 spare batteries but found that replacing the batteries requires 4 tiny screws. So that's the problem. I have a series of large garlands on a small tree that require 4 AA. They are 6 years old and have been used for night lighting for many hours. The switch is easy to use. The batteries lasted almost 5 years before needing to be replaced.
