I bought this product to get my Dell laser printer working wirelessly. It works perfectly. However, my lack of understanding of the instructions frustrated his work a bit. I'm a pretty savvy computer guy and I had to get crooked. Don't get me wrong and don't be afraid, it's hard to set up. it's not like this. On the back of the device there is a switch that can be switched to "X" or "II". When setting up a device, you should use "II" (I guess), but if you want the thing (printer, etc.) you're connecting to the device to work wirelessly, you need to set that switch to " toggle X". . " and leave it at "X". I never changed it to "X" and my printer didn't work. I called Linksys support and they didn't help. I got it finally figured it out myself. Once I switched it up to "X" my printer worked. so be aware of that and you can't go wrong. The only possible downside is that it only supports secure WEP encryption, which apparently is very is easy to crack when someone is around who wants to hack into your network. If you have a wireless network and are using WPA or higher, this device will probably pose a problem as it only supports WEP. So check your security settings routers and decide accordingly. If you want WPA protection, you need the Linksys WET54G which looks to be the successor to this model. It costs about double what this device costs. Overall I am satisfied with the device. It works very well for what it was designed for and allowed me to NOT run ethernet cables in a dangerous place in my office.
